Planner Inserts for 2019!
Planner inserts are the best! I simply love designing planner inserts (one of my favorite things to do). I have been working hard designing NEW Planner Inserts for 2019! The Calendar Inserts will be available mid-August in my Etsy Shop.
With summer being about half-way over, and back-to-school lurking around the corner for the kids…families will become once again busy as fall approaches. Especially for us moms! I know from personal experience this can be joyful moments or stressful moments LOL. But with my planner in hand–it usually is joyful moments because I am prepared for the most part of what is happening. But of course stuff happens and not all my plans go smoothly…but hey that’s life. Already Cross Country practices have started, as I am sure other high school sports have started practicing too. Mid-August is the perfect time to sit down with a new planner! (well for me not a new planner because I love my Kate Spade personal planner! So just new inserts for me.)
Planners come in all sizes from personal, A5, TN’s, B6, A6 and more! I personally love my personal rings and A5 rings. Yes sorry in advance, but I have always been a “rings” gal. I love the flexibility that I have with them. Rings offer the flexibility of moving things around in an order that works for you–plus I LOVE pretty dividers to separate my sections. So I have achieved planner peace with my rings for a very long time.
Okay getting back to sitting down and organizing your planner system for the fall. First of all, you need to find a system that works for you and your family. Everyone has a different set-up. I said this probably a 1000 times and will end up saying a 1000 times more–there is no right or wrong way to set up your planner! Your planner is as unique and individual as you are. Remember this peeps. You can get sucked down the planner rabbit hole really fast. Don’t slip down that hole and buy every planner item out there. Really think about how you want to set up your planner and just buy the planner items that will work with your setup.
I find that when the end of summer finally comes–I sit down with my planner and update, I clean out any old inserts, receipts, etc. to start the new school year fresh. My planner suddenly becomes skinnier–from all the extra paper stuff I know longer need for the start of the new school year. (But I do keep my old inserts in a filing cabinet for future reference if need be–and yes I have went back and looked up events or appointments). Planning can actually be fun! Okay, okay I know I am a planner nerd BUT it is something that I truly enjoy. I love looking back at my old calendar inserts and seeing all those everyday memories written down. And maybe when I am gone and up with the good Lord in Heaven–people will find my old planners and read them to see how my world was. It is like a time capsule or diary that has your life recorded down on paper. Yes the nerd in me is coming out again–I love anything paper!! Cute pretty paper just warms my heart. Ok I know that there are other people out there that feel the same as me.
So when you finally sit down to set up your new planner or a faithful old planner that you have had for years–be sure to check out my Etsy Shop at the link above on the top left. I have personal and A5 rings inserts available. http://primadonnastudioshop.etsy.com
I tend to be a more simple and functional type planner girl, however like I said before “there is no right or wrong way to set up your planner”. It is your planner and as long as it brings you joy when looking or writing in it–that is all that matters. So please take the time to love and really enjoy your planner. I hope that your planner brings you joy. Relax and have a wonderful rest of your summer!!
