Button Pins
Button Pins are a cool way
to express yourself!!
I am excited to announce that I have my first Button Pin available in my Etsy Shop. Later on, I will add some more button pins to my shop . This little pin holds a saying near and dear to my heart. When I was growing up my parents always told me to stay humble & kind to others. Sometimes it is very hard to do–but I try my best.

We need to remember that treating others in the ways that we would like to be treated is the way to go…plus, God tells us to be humble. I personally believe this to be true.
But let’s talk about button pins!! I have a little collection of them from when I was a kid. They were really popular in the 80’s when I was in high school. We would put them on our backpacks, purses. And, don’t forget our jeans jackets –which by the way are still a fashion statement that has not gone out of style. I am super excited to get my pins back out to display on my tote bags again. Button pins are a fantastic way to express yourself. Buttons can have your favorite quotes and sayings on them, or artwork. They are like little mini canvas’ of art. I love them! I am now 52 years old and I am thrilled that pins are back in vogue again.
I always wanted to create my own pins; however, I just never could afford to buy the button badge maker. Recently, I was blessed by family members who helped me purchase not one machine, but two! My favorite size is the 1.25″ pins because they are so versatile. They look fab on anything — cork boards, jackets, totes, backpacks and more.
I love designing, and I am definitely a font junkie. I love playing with type and layouts. I decided to start simple with my first pin — however, I am also creating my own artwork to make into pins, stickers and more. I love having a creative outlet. What’s your creative outlet? What do you love to do? What makes you happy and content? (by the way there are no right or wrong answers to these questions). I think more people need to take a step back and take time to do something that brings them joy.
